Peoria Public Library - Lincoln Branch

Peoria, Illinois

Library Emergency Safety and Security Systems Upgrade

The new 12,000 square foot addition to the existing Peoria Public Library – Lincoln Branch will triple the size of the existing Carnegie Library Facility, improving and extending library services to the south side of Peoria. Design features include a ‘living wall’ that will screen the new modern facility from the classical gem of the existing Carnegie Library. The addition houses extended technology services and larger book collections. The Carnegie Library was remodeled on the interior to allow for large study spaces and the re-incorporation of many of the original design features consistent with its historical landmark status.
