Lobby Projection System Installation

Thompson Electronics Company worked with Pekin Insurance in Pekin, IL to provide a lobby projection system.

We installed a projection system in the new lobby consisting of (1) 8300 lumen Epson WXGA projector, HDMI balun over exiting Cat6, installation, and setup. The projector hangs from the above truss via a drop-down pole in the middle of the drop ceiling over the stairs (~15’ from the projection wall). The projector on/off and source selection are controlled with an included remote control. We provided an HDMI-to-Cat6 converter at the PC location and a Cat6-to-HDMI converter at the projector. We aligned and calibrated the projector, and adjusted the color to the best of the projector’s ability with a short-throw lens to fill most of the width of the wall (~23’ wide).
