Fire Alarm / Mass Notification System, Area of Rescue Assistance System, (HSSD) High Sensitivity Detection System

The fire alarm system installed here is an Edwards IO500 Fire Alarm System. It has Signature Series Smoke Detectors and Genesis Horn/strobe Signals.

The area of rescue assistance system installed here is a Cornell 4200 Series. This system allows occupants with special needs to notify emergency personnel via audible and visual notification. Once answered, the occupant can communicate directly with the emergency personnel notifying the need for assistance in evacuation.

The HSSD System installed here is an aspirating, air sensing, system which samples air through a sophisticated piping network back to a controller. This controller analyzes the air for fire signatures to give early warning in a fire situation.

Audio/Video System

The Caterpillar Visitors Center uses the latest in A/V technology throughout the facility. We installed
digital signage systems
, digital projection systems, interactive kiosks, and a digital surround sound system inside a Caterpillar Tractor consisting of Meyer Speakers and amplification producing over 15,000 watts of power!
