Sales Representative

Thompson Electronics provides custom solutions for commercial buildings. These include audiovisual, fire alarm, communications, and security systems. We will pay to train and provide support as you get up speed. Your earning potential starts with a solid base pay and will also include significant commission based on sales. Pay will increase along with your experience, knowledge, and performance. Our sales team members are very well compensated. TEC has been in business for 42 years with many employees celebrating over 20 years at the company.

If you have some background or interest in electronics and would like to turn it into a career, we are interested in talking with you. Your job would include meeting with potential and current customers to advise them and provide solutions. You will be supported by a strong technical team and trained to increase your capabilities.

A successful candidate will bring a genuine positive attitude, great personality and interest in working with customers to solve their problems. You must be a good communicator both with internal team members and customers. Attention to detail is critical. Previous sales experience and knowledge of electronics is helpful. This position is based out of the office with travel to nearby customer locations as needed – overnight travel is not common. You will work out of our newest office located in Naperville, IL.
