Craig’s university education includes a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Bradley University in 1974. In addition, he has over 40 hours of business education in pursuit of an MBA. Craig has been in the electronics systems industry since 1973. Upon graduation from BU, he was the operations manager and vice president of a small business before starting Thompson Electronics Company in 1980.
His company is a solutions provider for security, communications, audio/video, and fire alarm systems for industrial, government, education, hospital and religious markets.
He has been involved in the industry for years and has professional memberships in the Audio Engineering Society, NFPA and the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers.
Craig has been on the leadership team of the NSCA, an industry association that included the office of president. His current focus is supporting his team so that they have the right people that are experts at solving customer problems.
He believes in encouraging his employees to grow their skills and knowledge in order to be industry leaders in their chosen field. He believes his customers need to know that Thompson Electronics can solve their problems with competence and excellence.
