Gary Schroeder started at Thompson Electronics Company in early 2024 as a Fire Alarm Specialist. Gary joined the team with 30 years of industry experience. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Aurora University in Marketing Management.
Gary is proud of his past achievements where he sold several multi-node fire alarm systems and high-profile projects over his career. His goals at TEC include growing our market while increasing sales. He enjoys interacting with clients to find the best solutions for their needs.
Outside of work, Gary’s interests include sports, food, and spending time with his wife, Terri, and son, Andrew.

I am working on increasing Thompson Electronics’ recognition and presence in Northern Illinois as a premier systems solutions provider.
