An Audiovisual Installation Technician is a professional responsible for planning, preparing, coordinating, programming, tuning, and installing audiovisual projects for clients. He or she is involved in many areas of post-sale client communication; planning, execution, and finalization of projects. This professional also acquires resources and coordinates efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according with the help of the assigned project manager. The Audiovisual Installation Technician oversees quality control throughout the project and continuously works with the Project Management team during the process to ensure continuity from start to finish.

Job Requirements: 

• Delivers small, medium and large audiovisual projects
• Involved in many aspects of projects
• Aides in the creation of project documentation required to support project
• Provides recommendations to project management regarding solutions to project risks, constraints and issues
• Helps establishes deadlines, supervises project resources on project, monitors progress, and adjusts time and priorities accordingly onsite
• Assists in the development of all project documentation per project management recommendations
• Assists in the development of project installation processes
• Must be willing to relocate to be a part of our local IBEW Union (Peoria or Naperville area)

Preferences:

•  AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I (preferred but not required)
•  Audiovisual installation experience
•  IT experience preferred but not required
•  Crestron/QSC/BiAmp/etc. Programming experience (preferred but not required)
•  Industry certifications are a plus
