As part of our transition to Scutum, your alarm monitoring service will be moving from Emergency24 or Rapid Response to Scutum Digital (formerly Statewide Central Station), a trusted monitoring center within the Scutum family of companies.

Our 24/7 central station monitoring services will continue to keep you safe and give you peace of mind. In the event of an emergency at your business, the proper authorities will be notified promptly. There will be no disruption to your monitoring services during this switch — only enhanced support from a unified, nationwide network.

Why the switch?

As of November 2023, we are proud to be part of Scutum, a leading safety provider of fire alarm and security services.

To ensure continued excellence and reliability, your monitoring services will now be provided by Scutum Digital (formerly Statewide Central Station), a trusted monitoring center within the Scutum family. This change reflects our commitment to delivering the highest level of service, now backed by the strength and resources of Scutum in North America and globally.

What can I expect?

We’re committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for you. Here’s what you can expect in the coming weeks:

  • Welcome Packet by Mail: You will receive a letter with more details about the change, along with a new panel sticker reflecting your updated monitoring call number.

  • Monitoring Switch Date: We’ll notify you in advance of the exact date your monitoring service will transition to Scutum Digital (formerly Statewide Central Station).

  • Electronic Agreement: You’ll receive an email with a link to review and e-sign your current monitoring agreement. This will also be an opportunity to confirm or update your emergency contact information.

🔔 Please note: If we do not currently have an email address on file for your account, a Scutum (formerly Thompson Electronics) representative will be reaching out by phone to collect one. We must have a valid email address to complete the agreement process.

Ease of Transition

We understand that changes to your monitoring service can raise questions, and we want to assure you that this transition will be smooth and hassle-free. There will be no interruption to your monitoring service, and your existing system will continue to operate as usual. While you’ll be asked to review and e-sign an updated monitoring agreement, our team will guide you through every step to make the process as simple as possible.
