The new IMEA headquarters features cutting edge audiovisual equipment in the multiple conference and training rooms, boardroom, and operations control center. The majority of the office space is on the first floor, which includes the Operations Center. Multiple audiovisual presentation systems, multiple line audio conferencing systems, an electronic voting system, and integral audio/visual equipment is utilized throughout the facility.
The Operations Center features a custom Christie Digital video wall and controller for 24-hour power systems management. Multiple computers and video sources can be brought up in many configurations. Lamp management as well as wall and configuration control is simplified for operators on a Crestron touchpanel. Audio and alarm playback comes through high performance “flat-panel” custom speakers. The operations center also includes a small conference room with flat panel display.
Simultaneously with the touch of a button the shades close, the lights dim, the projection screen lowers and a LCD video projector turns on and lowers from the ceiling, the audio racks turn on and the signals route to the main audiovisual input. The boardroom is ready for presentations. The custom Beyerdynamic conferencing system includes 40 custom gooseneck microphones with LED, headphone connection, flush mount plates with microphone control and 2-way speakers. A voting system is tied into the conferencing system allowing votes to be taken and displayed in a number of configurations through the video presentation system and then archived. Audio is distributed to overhead speakers in the main room and gallery as well as to a multiple line audio conferencing and recording system. Multiple computer floor inputs, wireless VGA video input, and television playback are all part of this advanced video presentation system.
