Randy Anderson

Randy Anderson is a Business Development Manager at Thompson Electronics Company who joined TEC in 2021 after working over 25 years in the communications industry as a Service Technician/Installer for telephone systems and voicemail. He later performed fire alarm testing, worked as a warehouse manager, and worked as a service coordinator, while providing customer service with after-hours support. His current responsibility as Business Development Manager provides an opportunity to reach out to current and future customers of Thompson Electronics Company.

Randy first attended the University of Illinois at Chicago Circle with a focus on Business Administration. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Radio/Television from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and his first job out of college was at WWCT radio in Peoria. He was also the manager of a telemarketing department for a pager company, before moving to outside sales briefly, and then began his career in service as a technician for a telecommunications company. Randy and his wife Terri have been married for over 31 years. They have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. Randy plays guitar in his spare time, and Terri loves to read. They like to do house projects, take trips, and spend time with their grandchildren.
